The sapling was planted by Upinder Kumar Sharma (MD) of the H.R.M. Trust, Bajakhana. It is being managed under the aegis of H.R.M. Trust Bajakhana. Today, this sapling has bloomed into a fruitful tree. This academic professional institute is situated at Bajakhana (Bathinda - Kotkapura National Highway). It is a meeting point for the Districts of Faridkot, Bathinda, Muktsar and Barnala.

Hans Raj Memorial Secondary School was started in the year 2002 and is affiliated to Punjab School Education Board. It hosted many district level and Taluka level competitions like district science fair, Taluka level Drawing competition, Sports competitions .
